The Sobah Camel group holds a literature-based AA meeting Monday through Friday at noon at Monument Hall in Concord (click for directions).
One meeting uses the book Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, one uses the book Alcoholics Anonymous, and one meeting uses Living Sober.
The Friday meeting is always a speaker-discussion meeting.
Why Sobah Camel?
The group got its name in 2013 from January G and Deb C.
"Sobah" is Boston-speak for "sober" and a camel represents prayer, as AA's co-founder Dr. Bob tells it.
