Area 30 (aaemass.org) is one of two AA General Service Areas in MA (Area 31 covers western MA). Area 30 is composed of 27 districts, as shown below. Each district (or combined district) has an elected District Committee Member (DCM) to represents all groups from a district. Each AA group may elect a General Service Representative (GSR) to represent them. In eastern MA, as elsewhere, districts and groups are represented at area assemblies and meetings by their DCMs and GSRs, and each area is represented at the General Service Conference by their elected Area Delegate.
